puruda Posted August 23, 2013 Report Posted August 23, 2013 I am applying to *** (San Jose) in the MBA program and want to change my status from H4 to F1 so that I can undertake internships. I am also planning to travel to India soon. I would greatly appreciate if someone could answer few questions that I have regarding H4 to F1 conversion. 1) Once I my I-20 from school, should I directly take my i-20 to India and file for F1 from there (since I will be there anyways) or apply for a change of status first here in US and then get stamping done when I travel to India? 2) If my F1 gets rejected, what happens to H4 visa (which is valid upto mid 2014). Do I need to apply for a fresh H4 or I can re-enter the country on my current H4? 3) I previously hold a bachelors and masters degree from US, can this be an issue in getting another F1? 4) If F1 gets rejected, can I apply for COS after returning back to US? Thank you.
rahul412 Posted August 23, 2013 Report Posted August 23, 2013 Do not join this school , find another school . For more details just do a search in this forum about that school.
