Need suggestion on L1B in middle of the H1B process.

Dear folks,

I am very confused with my current situation and seriously need your suggestion. Please help.

 

My Indian company has filed an H1 for me in Apr-2013 (for the fiscal year 2014) and fortunately my H1B was picked up in the lottery. I was very happy with that have been waiting for the result to go for stamping. However, now my company asked me to go for L1B without disclosing my H1B result (not even the receipt no of my case, tried in most possible ways but no luck). I don’t know why they are doing in middle of H1B process. Please advise.
