A good H1B stamping location

Hello,

 

Now-a-days we know that many people are going H1-B visa stampingto Canada. I also heard people are going to Jamaica for stamping. Can you please tell me which is good place to go for stamping Canada or Jamaica. Also please provide any reviews.

 

I'm planning to go for stamping in Feb 2014.

They are all the same, they all have the same information. This is the age of databases and the Internet, in case you didn't know.

"Consulate-shopping" does not work.

Make sure your paperwork is in order, instead of trying to find loopholes.

I agree with the previous poster. I have done stamping in Vancouer (2010) and Ottawa (2011) and both were postive experience. Vancouver I had to wait 7 days for 221 g which was my first stampting. Ottawa I got the passport back in two days.

 

Other than having your papers ready, I would suggest these things in order to choose:

 

1. Ease of travel. Don't pick a place that is far way. If Canada is easy to get from where you are I would pick that.

2. Travel cost.

3. If you have to stay longer, consider that into your calcuations as well. Ottawa was cheaper than Vancouver. I wanted to go to Toronto as I have friends there but didn't get an appoinment. So I stayed with friends in Toronto, drove 5 hrs to Ottawa, stayed for 2 days and drove back.

The one which is convenient for you. Think practically dude, you submit the same documents and they have the same information, so it doesn't matter at all.
