H1b approved for 3 years but visa stamped only for 2 yrs. Please help with procedure when i make international travel when visa stamping is expired.

Hi,

 

I am planning for an india travel in Nov 2013 return in jan 2014. 

 

My H1B i.e. i797 is approved for 3 years (Oct 2011 to Sep 2014).

But H1Bvisa stamping on passport is only for 2 years (expires Dec 23rd 2014)

 

Please help with details if i need to go for stamping again face to face or can i mail the documents?Do i have to block visa dates?

Can someone please explain the procedure?

 

My company's HR seems to have no clue as they keep giving me wrong info.

Check the ustraveldocs website, create a login and enter your details and look at the conditions to be met for a drop box processing. If you meet all the requirements then you could use that facility or else you need to for a face to face interview after booking an appointment for fingerprinting and interview.
