Expired USA Visa.. Travel via Seattle --> Canada -->Hongkong-->India

Hi All,

 

My L1B Visa is expired and I am on a valid I94.

I wanted to travel to India and have inclined to the below path.. (ticket cost one of the reason)

 

Seattle --> Vancouver(CANADA) --> Hongkong --> India

 

Can any senior member from the forum let me know if the above path DOES NOT require me to have a VALID VISA?

If I avoid Canada and go through USA-->HONGKONG-->INDIA,  would I need a transit VISA in HONGKONG?

No, you do not need a visa to transit through Hong Kong. Double check with your airlines before you book ticket.
