Visa expiration, extension and travel back to India

Hi,

 

My Visa is expiring on 4th Nov 2013. I am intended to travel to USA for a long term by 30th Aug 2013 and my company will be filing for my extension (most likely non-premium) immediately when I reach there. My marriage is fixed on 28th Dec 2013 and I need to travel back to India for 1 month for it and then go back to USA for a long term.

 

1. Do you see any issues in it?

 

2. Is remaining period from now onward sufficient for extension process?

 

3. What are consequences if in case, extension doesn't happen before my December travel?

 

4. Will I be refrained from travelling back?

 

5. Will my extension application becomes void if I travel back?

 

6. In case it is not completed before I travel back and doesn't get void, can I wait in India to get it completed and reenter USA once done?

(2) Yes

(3 & 4) With out extension you can not get a visa to travel to US

(5) If your employer applies for extension, with no RFE received you will get an extension in 2.5 months

(6) Yes
