7th year extension possibility while falling short of 10 days for Perm pending for 365 days rule

Hi,
My H1B expires Feb 2014. My perm was files Feb 2013. Just falling short
of 10 days for Perm pending for 365 days rule. Now Perm is in audit.
What are my options now?

1) can I visit India for a month and then try to re-capture that time.
If that is possible
2) can I file for re-capture and 7th year extension in a single filing
(or) should there be 2 seperate applications.

I am really worried about my scenario. Attorneys have goofed up my case
inspite my constant reminder to apply before January this year.
But they took their own time assuring me that Perm will be processed
in 3-4 months. Whats the best possible options in my case.
All your valuable suggestions are truly appreciated.

combination of both option might workout for u. I think you will have to file for recapture first, and then for 7th year extension.

My lawyer suggested me to go to India for a month and then come back and apply extension
