Wife went to india, will return when 15 days left on Visa

My wife left to india for an emergency, she has her visa stamping until Oct 1st, she has her flight tickets booked until Sept 15th, ie., she still has her visa stamped for only 15 days, but i applied for H4 visa extension already. Would there be any problem at the port of entry? Should I ask her to come in advance?

I believe it should not be a problem. If her tickets could be advanced you then do it.

I think there was no need to apply H4 extension. When She lands on Sep 15th, She can show a copy of your I797 petition and get I-94 based on that.
