H1B Transfer PP Not status change even After 15 days

Receipt Date :- 24-July-2013

Service C :- vermont

Current Status : Initial Review

RFE: No

 

Its already 24 days ..... No change in status 

 

Can anyone suggest me what i can do here. My employer is saying to wait wait wait....

Do not calculate weekends and calculate only from the date on receipt number. You should get a decision by today or beginning of next week. Just relax.

This has happend to me as well. There could be two possibilities:

1. Background check on the employer

2. Background check on the beneficiary

 

In my case it is cleary the 1st one, reason being there are few other candidates experiencing longer delays.

 

I really hope this should not the case for you. Hopefully, you will get it in next few days.

Thanks for the response.  I was in a impression that it is "15 Calender Days". And my case from the day 1 its in "Initial Review"

There is nothing wrong with your employer or attorney inquiring with USCIS.

Only your employer/attorney can call them. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do from your end.
