Language of Interview - Does it matter

Hi - my wife can speak little bit of English. She can express it but there would be some grammatical mistakes :) I'm planning to apply for B2 in Hyderabad, India. I have a B1 and am going for an event. I want to take her with me for 4 weeks.

Though she has traveled to other countries before, she is a bit concerned about not understanding their accent and if she by mistake expresses an answer wrong.

My question is does it really matter in determining. She is a homemaker and I am not sure if her inability in speaking can be seen as a potential immigrant. 
 

What is suggested ? Have her take interview in English or her native language?

Taking the interview in English or other language does not affect approval of visa. Ask her to attend visa in whatever language she is comfortable with.

Language doesnt matter..if she cannot speak English there..how will she speak here?
