Multiple H1B approved - what to do with the second?

Hi

I got two good offers and applied for H1 with both. 

Now that both are approved(company A first, then company B) I have chosen Company A and planning to inform company B that I will not be joining.

1. Should I also tell company B to revoke the petition ? 

2. If company B did not revoke the petition will it cause issues to me later?

3. If some issue arises with Company A, could I work for company B later if they had not revoked the petition?

Any help here is much appreciated. My preference would be to have company B revoke the petition. pls advice.

1) Once you inform them you are not joining, they will revoke the petition. Make sure there was no contract signed.

 

2) No.

 

3) You'll have to Transfer your H1 to Company B.
