Automatic revalidation of h1-b visa

Folks,

Can someone please confirm if its possible to get automatic visa revalidation when traveling to Canada from US for less than 10 days.

I'm a US resident on h1-b visa. If I go to Canada and don't get a visa stamp, will I be able to come back to the US based on my valid I-94

and I-797 ?

You can comeback ONLY if you are not applying visa in Canada.

Are you planning to apply to US visa in Canada ,during your trip?

 

If yes, then you cannot use  AVR.

If you are planning to attend visa interview, the AVR is not applicable
