B2 to H1b

Hi,

Is B2 to H1b possible.

How much time does it take, I already have a I797 approval notice from last year, but I never used it.

The same employer who filed for my H1b last year is willing to do a COS but he says there is risk involved.

 

Can you suggest me the best way to do this?

Best way is to leave the country and enter with a valid H1B visa stamped in your passport.

your employer is true..because B2 is a visitor's visa and doing a COS to H1b could be a problem in the future. But as Jairichi suggested, just way is to come back on H1B provided you have a valid job.
