skapur9 Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 I'm filing Visa extension for my parents through ELIS. I'm seeing below options for Benefit Request type 1. I am applying for an extension of stay in my current status and I am the only applicant. 2. Members of my family and I are applying for an extension of stay in our current status and we are all seeking the same benefit. My status is green card and i'm not part of this request. Which one do I select? I'm guessing it is 2? Next question is "Are you filing this benefit request for status based on a Principal Alien's nonimmigrant status? YES/NO " I'm not sure what this means. Any help will be appreciated.
