I have the same question, i have client letter with date of Aug 5th and my interview in calgary is on Aug 26th. So will this client letter work ?

It should be fine until 4 or 5 weeks old.

My friend took a letter thats 3 months old, it worked. Just show the latest emails at work or some other form to convince that you are working, if VO asks about the date.

 

I dont think there is a hard and fast rule for these things.

Client letter works best if less than 2 weeks old. However if it is older than 2 weeks to max 2 weeks, attach 2-3 emails from office to prove that you still work at same company and old client letter is still valid. However if there is no email proof etc, then that becomes an issue and they might send email etc to verify the authenticity of letter.

Hi, H1Slaves, you're absolutely correct! It should work even for 3 months older as far as you can bring your Badge ID of Client/ Print out of email conversation.

If you can ask your manager to confirm that you are working with them with job responsibilities. that also works
