How to convert H1B visa to L1A

Hi,

I have come to US on H1B from X company in 2010 April. I have shifted to Y company in Nov 2011 and currently working with the same organization as a project Manager.

My current H1B is due for renewal and my company is willing to process L1A visa. Is this possible? If yes, what kind of documentation should i be able to support?

L1 visa minimum requirement is 1 year work outside USA. I don't think you can convert from h1 to l1 within the USA.

For an L1, you have to have worked for the employer outside the US for 1 year in the last 3 years.

Since you worked in the US on H1 for 3 years, you can not get an L1.
