chowmkko2
Hi, I have come to US on H1B from X company in 2010 April. I have shifted to Y company in Nov 2011 and currently working with the same organization as a project Manager. My current H1B is due for renewal and my company is willing to process L1A visa. Is this possible? If yes, what kind of documentation should i be able to support? Best regards Krishna Link to comment
asugrad
L1 visa minimum requirement is 1 year work outside USA. I don't think you can convert from h1 to l1 within the USA. I'm not an attorney. Please consult one Link to comment
JoeF
For an L1, you have to have worked for the employer outside the US for 1 year in the last 3 years. Since you worked in the US on H1 for 3 years, you can not get an L1. Link to comment
