CrazyH1
I have a Question regarding H1b Stamping Present scenario : Rightnow My frd's VISA was expired on End of Last September(Sept' 2012). He has a Option to use drop-box facility as he already got stamped in HYD for 1st time. Can he do the process from Here(US)? Can he send all the required docs to HYD embassy from USA? Can he provide Local Address in HYD to get back his documents either VISA is approved or not ? Did anyone done like this before ? Any experince will Help US Thanks Link to comment
areddy1234
As far as I know, No for all your questions... You cannot send passport via mail that is a strict No No. Without passport there is no question of having visa stamp. Please check with with others and your attorney. Thanks, Areddy. Link to comment
sam1982
Sending passport across international border by mail is illegal. So, it will not be possible from US. For applying visa the applicant has to be physically in the country where he is applying for visa. Link to comment
nineballs
If you send the document from US, you will have to send the Passport too. Mailing Indian passport across the international border is not allowed. So, not possible. Link to comment
