H1 extension after H1 Transfer

Hi,

I've been working with Company A and H1-B visa is valid till Sep-2013. I got a offer from Company B, accepted their offer and my H1-B was transferred to Company B. Later I changed my mind and thought of staying back with Company A.

Now Company A is filling for my H1 extension as it's about to expire in Sep2013.

 

a) Will this be fine? Please suggest.

b) In future, Can i shift to other company (say Company C)?

(a) You should be fine as long as you are/were in status.

 

(b) Yes, you can as long as you have not reached maximum 6 years in H1B
