I heard people submit few documents and Passport Photo to consulate in Hyderabad. Pls advise if any documents that needs to be submitted. And regarding DS 160, any deadline to finish and submit to consulate, So far I filled only first page to get Application Number to book appointment. Thanks, Surya

I went to consulate at 8:00 AM. They checked my DS-160 confirmation, passport and I-797 and asked me to come back at 8:30. Step 2: Went there at 8:30 and they checked my file and told me to remove the document from sealed envelope.Step 3: Security check on 2nd floor and again checked the file. Step 4: Submitted my DS-160, Passport and I-797 at counter 1. Waited there for around 15 mins until my number showed on screen. After that my number was showed on screen, took PP, DS-160 and I-797 from counter 1 and went to 20th floor where the actual interview was. Step 5: Waited there for around 15-20 mins. I was sitting right across the Visa Officer who interviewed me. Then my number came and my interview was like this.Me: Good morning sir, how are you? and gave him my passport, I-797 and DS-160 confirmation.VO: Didn't say anything.I put a big file with all the documents in front of him and opened it although he didn't ask for any document.VO: For how long you are working for this company?Me: 2 YearsVO: So you work in XX? (My employer address)Me: No Sir, I work in YY(Client Address).VO: So you work for a Client?Me: Yes sir.VO: Who is your Client?Me: XXXVO: For how long you are working for your client?Me: 2 YearsVO: You worked for ZZZ before?Me: Yes sir, I worked there for around 4 months when I was on OPT.VO: What do you do for your Client?Me: I am working as a XXX (Title) and told my responsibilities for about a min. All this time he was typing something in the computer. I was keep telling him my duties and he stopped me in between and told me okay, I understand. I am approving your Visa. Gave me one white form for Loomis information and told me you can track your application here and you will receive your passport in 3-5 business days.Me: Thank you very much Sir. Have a good one!!Thats it. None of the documents were asked. The interview was less than 2 mins.LITTLE TIP:Main thing I noticed is to have a smile on the face and answer clearly in whatever VO asks and BE CONFIDENT and Try to be as cool as possible.Trust in God. Carry as many documents as you can.
