RFE on EVL

My PD is Dec 2007 which is current per the August 2013 bulletin. But I received an RFE un June and I hired an attorney to respond to the RFE and USCIS received my response on July 16. Since then the status has been "under review".

 

My situation is, I changed my employer in May 2013. My previous employer is my GC sponsor (EB2). Currently I launched my own company and I am working on a corp-corp contract for a client in NY.

 

Anyone who has had a similar experience as mine or who knows someone who went through a similar situation as mine, can you please share your experience. I am a little nervous and frustrated at this point with the long wait and now I dont want them to deny on the grounds of self-employment.

 

When my attorney responded to the RFE, they cited the AC21 portability and also a rule within AC21 that allows candidates to be self-employed provided the line of work is the same as the one that was submitted with 140.

 

I have my EAD card.

 

Any thoughts or if you can share your experience will be highly appreciated.

you call that a long wait? some people here have been waiting for the last 12+ yrs for the GC.
