F1 - H4 - F1 Visa Validity

Hello,

 

I came to the US in Aug 2009 on F1 and Graduated in April 2011. I converted to H4 after getting married at the end of my OPT Period. Now I intend to go back to school and get a second Masters. My question is my F1 visa is still valid until July 2014 and hasn't been striked off once I had my H4 stamped (Which expires in April 2014).

 

If I apply for a change of status from H4 to F1, is my old F1 visa still valid for purposes of travel outside the US? Appreciate any input on this, thanks in advance!

I believe it is. But, you need the new I-20 when you try to enter US
