Urgent : how to update ds-160 which was already submitted, parents DOB is wrong , need to update it

Once you submitted you can not. Either you have to make a new one or at the time of visa interview inform the visa officer about it.

Please cancel the appointment if any, complete new DS-160 with precise DOB and book an appointment, VO or consulate might ask you to come back with necessary conrrections if they find out the mismatch between passport & DS-160.

Thank you for the response .....I will do so ...one more question ...My parents attending the interview in India they already paid the fee with the reference to the old ds 160 ...is this can be changed ?
