H4-F1 done. Travel to India on OPT ?

Hello everyone,

 

I entered US last year on H4. Started school immediately. Applied for H4 - F1 conversion which got approved.

I haven't visited India again, so F1 stamping is not done yet. I have no plans to visit India anytime soon.

 

I will be graduating in May 2014 and my OPT starts then. Can I go to India after my OPT starts and if I have a job ?

F1 stamping is not on my passport, so will it be any issue then ? If yes, I will plan on alternatives like going to Canada for stamping before OPT.
