Change of employer when in cap-gap

Hello,

 

I am in cap-gap (my OPT extension expired on 6/4/2013) and have an approved H1B from employer A. Now I got  an offer of employment from a company B. What would be the steps I need to follow to maintain a legal work status to work for company B now?

Since you are on OPT/EAD you need not wait till Oct 1 to join Employer B. You can join even today and they can file for your

transfer.  You are required to work for H1B petitioner from the day H1B becomes effective (typically Oct 1). TIll the

day H1B becomes effective you can work for any employer on your EAD

But what about the employer name on the CAP-GAP i20 can we change it.
