walnut
Hi, I'll be completing 6years in March 2014 in the US on a H1B. If I want to continue in the US, Can I apply for a student visa for a MS. Also will I get a new H1 after completing my master in 2years? Kindly let me know if this is a good option? Link to comment

It takes TWO years to finish master's, but if you stay out of US for ONE year then you can again apply for H1 and you will save one year time. Moreover you have already worked in US for 6 yrs so getting F1 now is little bit difficult. Link to comment
jairichi
With your current status in H1 it will be tough to get a F1. Best will be to leave the country for a year and return later with a job Link to comment
