subrajit
Hi, My H1B visa was recently approved. However, an ex employee of my company has filed a police complaint against me on charges of harrasment and hacking, both of which are false allegations. The police has so far not filed a FIR and we are trying to settle things outside. However, she isnt willing to budge from a financial compensation which I am willing to spend. I have a question. If this doesnt settle, she may go ahead and file a legal case against me in court. I have a question. Will I have difficulties in getting my visa stamped if I am accused in a court of law? Please note it is just an accusation and I have not been convicted in a court of law. Do let me know what can I do as of now. Link to comment
justdoitdude
Its good to consult an immigration lawyer. This looks like a critical case. I know you may be ignorant in the above matter, but go with proper documentation and have a good answer for the Visa officer before you go for stamping. Link to comment
