Shared accommodation Ottawa Downtown from 07/20/2013 to 07/29/2013

As mentioned in my previous posts, I am waiting in Ottawa for my 221G issue. My roommate who was supposed to go on Monday is leaving today itself. So, the shared accommodation (for one person) is available in Ottawa, Downtown hotel from today i.e., 07/20/2013 to 07/29/2013. I got the hotel room in a decent deal and the hotel is near to US Consulate office which is 15 to 20 min walk. I am heading to Ottawa for stamping on 30th, did they give you a ETA on when they might close your case and give your visa? Is this your first time ? Can you please share your experience?
