L1 to H1B transfer through CP

HI,

 

Currently i am in L1 B and have valid L1 B or 1-94 till 2015 APRIL Now I have applied for H1 B through CP. 

 

1. Suppose If i go out of USA and When I appear for H1B stamping, if my H1B gets rejected for some reason, will my current L1 stamping still be valid ? (Can i travel back to USA on L1 B)

 

2. Can i change my H1 B from CP to COS during my stay in USA.
