"My client location is virginia and i stay in virginia so as my LCA address says virginia , but MY address on paystubs is TEXAS as my employer running my payroll as TEXAS and employer company is in TEXAS too" if VO points out this what is the BEST answer i can give???? rksingh Posted July 19, 2013 Report Share Posted July 19, 2013 I don't think that this issue is any big deal as long as the paystub reflects the actual employer name. Many companies operate their remote locations as subsidiaries and payroll is run by parent company etc. I myself am FTE in Wisconsin but my paychecks are run from parent company in Virginia. Guest Posted July 19, 2013 Report Share Posted July 19, 2013 u r living in VA but payroll runs with texas address? which means no state tax on ur payroll? if so, this is not permitted I believe. payroll need to run for the address (state) u live in so that applicable taxes apply... Link to comment
