naveensai12
Hi I am a student doing Master and i am presently working on my thesis documentation.I recently received an offer from a great company and they wanted me to start work immediately. I applied for Pre-OPT on June 24th. On july 1st i applied for an expedite processing on the case on Financial and humanitarian grounds.I have not received any information regarding the expedite request. Its been 15 days and they haven't told me if the request was accepted or denied. So i contacted a senator for followup on my case and he told me that he contacted them 5 days back and didnt hear back from then since. i have the following queswtions : 1) Since its 15 days and they havent denied or accepted the expedite request, does that mean they are working on the request ? Or should i assume its denied. 2)Do they take more than 5 days to reply to a senator? Normally will it help speed up if the senator is following up the case for you. 3) Is there any thing else i can do so that i can work for the company. Thanks in advance for all your help.
