H1btry
Hi, I have valid H1b Visa stamped in Dec-12 which is filed by my current employer but i never flied to US. Now my employer dont have any opening or Projects in US whcih suites to my profile/skills so i am not getting the Opportunity. Can any other company in India or US who requirement for that skills can buy out my visa? What is the procedure for the same? How much time it takes? Link to comment

How much time it takes? It's called H1 transfer( actually new H1). Yes any employer in US can file a H1 for you if they have a job for you. And procedure is just like filing a hew H1. Link to comment

The new employer has to file a cap exempt petition and upon approval you can work immediately and not to wait 4 - 6 months. Same H1B fee is involved. Link to comment
