DOS Requested DS-2019

Hi,

 

On July 1st DOS website says they received all the documents in cluding DS-2019 but except No Objection. DOS website updated my information today and they recived my No Objection also. And "DS-2019: Requested". Also there is "incomplte infromation :sent". Do I have to send DS-2019 original ?. I think I may get a letter from DOS soon regarding this . Am I correct ?

You will receive a letter from DOS with details, they dont ask for orginal.  Did you sent all previous DS-2019s including the ones that were expired?

Yes, you are right jassi1239. Today I got the letter from DOS.  I did not send the expired one. Today I send the document. Hopefully I will come to know the decision by the end of this month from DOS.

 

DOS already got the no objection form indian embassy. I didn't write a good statement of reason. Just wrote " I dont have any leagl issues or other problems in india and so on..(6 or 7 lines) ". I am not sure whether it is good enough or not.

 

I will post my timelines next month, in case if I get the final approval.
