i539 COS h4 to f1 denied - what to do next

Hi,
I had applied for I539 Change of status from H4 to F1 visa.
Because of some error in form submission i submitted wrong receipt in RFE for i901 payment.
My application was rejected for same. I later paid fees for i901 but it was too late as i received rejection on same day
Could you please suggest what to do next.
Appeal will cost me 630$ and it is not error on uscis side - on the other hand new application requires 3 month to process.

You can still continue as student on H4 right? go for re application, I'd do the same.

If your H4 status is still valid, apply again.

You can study on H4 just fine. And in a number of states, you may even be eligible for in-state tuition on H4.
