Shreshta
Hi, I'm not well versed with the visitor visa jargon and do not have any idea on how it works. I hope my questions are answered patiently even if they might sound silly. My mom would like to visit me for a month on a self sponsored visitor visa. I had a couple of queries regarding it. Could someone please help me. 1) Do I have to provide any documents from my side.(Eg. my bank balance here in US, my pay stubs etc). If yes, what are the documents that I need to provide and what is minimum bank balance that needs to be shown. 2) I know that my mom has to submit financial documents supporting that she can self sponsor her trip. What are the documents that she needs to provide and is there a minimum limit that she needs to present. 3) Will it be a multiple entry visa? -Shreshta Link to comment
t75
No one can predict whether a visa, if granted, will be single or multiple entry. If she is paying all of her expenses, your documents should not be needed. There are many detailed articles about recommended documentation. Search engines are your friend. Link to comment
Shreshta
Thank you for your reply t75. Is there a minimum amount that needs to be shown in order to convince the officer that she can bear her expenses(including her stay) ? Link to comment
