passport mailed NY still waiting

Hi 

 

I have mailed my passport to Canadian Consulate in NY on July 5th and they received on July 9th, and I'm still waiting for the passport to be returned.I have mailed it along with a express return label.

 

 Does anyone know how much time they usually take to mail back the passport?

 

Is there anyway we can contact them or send a email asking them the status??

they will normally take a week to send you back

from the previous posts on here, i've read most ppl got it in a period of 10 days or so..................so i'd give it a few more days 

 

i figure you applied online? how many days did it take to get thhe approval to send ppt? during that period how did you track the application? Thanks and good luck.

Yes, I applied online. For me it took 30 regular days for approval to send the passport.

 

There is no way to track the application during that time frame, But you should expect a reply with 30-45 regular days.

 

Once you get the approval don't send the passport  to NY consulate, send it to LA one they are quick in stamping and returning the passport. All my friends got the passport back within a week.
