H1b Transfer immediately after status changes to H1B

I am currently working for Employer A. I have 3 layers - My Employer > Vendor > End Client. My H1B is approved and will start from Oct 2013. I got CAP gap extension from my university. Now the end client is asking me to join full time. However, it might take a while for them to open the position. By the time they open a position for me, status changes to H1B already. Now under these circumstances, can I go ahead with the transfer immediately in October? I read somewhere that one has to work for the employer for at least 2 months before applying for transfer. I have been working for this employer for more than two years but not under H1.

No, that's not correct. You can change employer at any time.
