Can I go to India on 221G

Hi Guys,

 

I got 221G during my VISA interview. I have my passport with me & have multiple entry VISA for Canada. Can I go to India and return back to Canada when my VISA is approved?

You are traveling from  Canada to India. It's no way related to 221g. All you need is valid Canadian visa

FYI

but when you return from india you need to book a return ticket from canada to India as well good part is you cancel the ticket once you come to canada.

 

return ticket will be asked by india Immigration when you fly back to canada from india...

Hi Guys,

 

I got my VISA today morning. They told me to collect my passport from Loomis after 3-4 business days. 

 

Please don't worry if you get 221G. US Consulate is just doing client verification. In my case, they sent an email to my manager. As soon my manager replied, they approved my VISA...:) They din't even contacted my Employer or Vendor.

 

Most of the people (EVC model) I know got their VISA approved after getting 221G. That too within 2-3 days!!!
