I94 Expiration

Got H1B stamping in November 14^th 2011 with Company-A visa expires on July 31^st, I have transferred to Company-B on Aug 2012, my new H1B petition expires on Jul 2015.

 

Recently I have visited India, on return at port of entry I have shown both petitions from Company A and B, but the officer had approved my I94 until July 31^st (my visa expiration date).

 

First Question: Do I need to go for stamping before July 31^st or can I go for interview after July 31^st whenever possible for me?

 

Second Question: Can I visit Halifax, Canada for stamping; this will be my second interview.

It appears that CBP may have committed an error in admitting to the visa expiration date rather than the petition expiration date. This may be able to be corrected without travelling outside the United States. Since the expiration is coming up at the end of the month, it is imperative to contact a qualified competent immigration attorney to discuss this matter and determine the best possible way to correct the I-94.
