H1-B Visa Stamping - Hyderabad - May 28

Just wanted to get my experience out there for folks going for H1-B stamping. 

 

This was my second H1-B visa stamp at the Hyderabad consulate. The VO asked me a few simple questions. Background: Masters + 6 years work exp. Work as an employee for a global company employing > 10000 people.

 

Questions asked including which company I work for, my title, how long have I been working for my current company, are you married, what is my spouse's status. 

 

While standing in the line, I did notice that questions about spouse have become more or less usual which was not the case before.

Do we have to submit documents 3 business days in advance like before? As of now I have booked my OFC at the consulate on Aug 11 & the visa interview on Aug 13 in hyderabad. I was looking at this link: http://hyderabad.usconsulate.gov/advance_doc_submission2.html

 

Did you have to submit copies of documents 3 business days in advance? Please clarify.
