sudbon2784
Hi all, I accepted a full time position with a big company. As a post-offer examination, they wanted me to fill a medical questionnaire. I do not have any illness except mild Psoriasis. There is a question in the questionnaire: "Hives, eczema or skin disease?". Even though Psoriasis is not contagious, do I need to inform this in the questionnaire? Can this skin problem have any influence on my offer? I just don't feel comfortable revealing my condition. I would be glad if any one can give me a suggestions. Thanks in advance. Link to comment
JoeF
Don't lie. If you lie, you could get fired for cause. Link to comment
t75
It would not affect your offer. It is not even disabling. Link to comment
sudbon2784
Thank you JoeF and t75. To avoid problems, I am going to reveal this to my future employer. Glad to know that this would not effect my offer. Link to comment

sudbon2784
Thank you omshiv. I answered all questions truly. I never wanted to lie to the employer. I wondered if I can say to the employer like "I am not willing to answer this question". But anyway, since I mentioned about my health condition, I need not to worry about this. Thank you for your answers. Link to comment
t75
You can always refuse to answer at the risk of them withdrawing the offer. While some questions may be against US law and their dismissing you on that basis would be a very expensive lawsuit. Link to comment
