rohit.rohitnar
Hi, I have a second term H1B that expires in September 2013. My PERM (filed in April 2013) is in process and probably will take another 4 - 6 months to get approval. Since I have to leave the country, I plan to visit Canada on a business Temporary Resident Visa for 6 months and telecommute for the US company. My questions are:1. Assuming my PERM & I140 gets approved while in Canada, can I apply for H1B extension from a Canadian Consulate and re-enter US? 2. Does anyone see any concerns or issues with this approach? Thanks Link to comment
omshiv
Yes..if your I-140 gets approved your employer can extend your H1b and you can get it stamped in Canada...I dont see any issues in doing that. Link to comment
