moinqazi
Hi, I did my masters from US and worked as pharmacist for 7 years at a major retail chain in the US. Due to failure of my PERM application and consequential inability to renew my H1B beyond the 6th year mark, I had to come back to India in Feb 2012. Now I have an H1B petition approved from an independent pharmacy in the US and I'll be going for H1B visa stamping in a few days. But my concern is the fact that I didn't do any job in India while I was here, since retail pharmacy experience is useless in India, will it be a problem while I go for H1B visa stamping? While I was in India, I was planning on opening up a retail pharmacy in India and I even bought a shop for that. I was thinking of telling the visa officer the same fact that i just mentioned. do you guys think that I am in trouble. I'd like to get some opinion or guidance. Thanks a lot. Link to comment
