L1B to H1B transfer

Hi,

Currently I'm working on L1B visa which has expired in April 2013, however have I-94 valid till 2015.

I will be completing 5 yrs on L1B by 3rd Sept 2013.

I also have approval on PERM for my GC, so wanted to know if I could file now H1B for the fiscal year 2013 based on my PERM approval.

Or are there any other options for me to stay in US beyond 3rd Sept 2013.

Would really appreciate your reply.
