Guest
Hello I applied for Canada visa to go for my H1 stamping in Vancouver. I got an email today asking me to send the passport within 30 days to complete the process. Does this mean Canada visa is approved? also, I think I need to send return envelope as well. Can someone please guide me on how to send this and carrier to be used (fedex, ups etc) Thank you.. Link to comment

I heard that they are not preferring the fedex envelop's. Just send the plain one's. Link to comment
gcode
Yes its approved. You need to take out the printout of the message you got in your cic account and send it along with the passport and prepaid usps express mail envelope. No need to send I94 with passport. Link to comment
Guest
I came to know that only Fedex does self addressed pre-paid envelopes. I am not sure how to send this? Can anyone let me know some details. Thank you Link to comment
sverma
In how many days did you get the response from the Canadian Consulate, to send the passport? Also please let me know if USPS at all does the prepaid envelopes? Link to comment
sverma
I just called the USPS local office and they said you can send a prepaid envelope with postage stamp on it, the only downside is that you CANNOT track a priority mail envelope but you CAN track an Express Mail Envelope. I will be using USPS prepaid express mail envelope to the consulate. What all do we need to send besides 1) the passport and 2) the document that has the message on it? Also my expired US visa which I entered on is in my old expired passport. Do I need to send my old passport with my current new valid passport? Link to comment
Kabir79
Send all passports - new + old ones. USPS does have a pre-paid with tracking number. They charge flat rata of $19.95 for that. Link to comment
sverma
You can write down the tracking number, when they do scan it , it will come in the system. You are correct about ~$20 prepaid stamp. Do we have another choice ? Link to comment
