H4 to H1 COS and then H1 transfer

Hi Saurabh,

   I have applied for COS H4 to H1 this year and got approved. 

 

I am in a kind of situation thatI had worked for  Company A  in India and then i came here on H4 and applied for H1 through consultancy B.

 

Now my question is ,  Company A is willing to offer me job in US ( US branch) and they are asking for the H1 Approval copy.

 Is that legal and secure to share the H1 approval copy with my old employer who is in India?

(I am willing to join my old employer in US as a permanent employee)

 

Could you please suggest pros and cons for the same.... Thanks in Advance.......

No cons and all pros. Give them what they want. Keep copies.

Your new employer needs to have some proof of your previous H1B approval

to "transfer" the H1B.

So essentially you are transferring from One employer to other even before joining the first employer.

Am I right?
