travel with a previous stamping

Hello,

 

I have a valid h4 stamp for couple of years on my passport.

but once i came to usa i changed my status to h1b from h4 .

so if i travel to india i need to get a new stamping.

 

in my previous years i have already got a 221g for my h1 and then i finally had to quit job as there was no reply. then i came back on h4 status.

 

Now my question is,

 

If i am traveling to india now, can i use the valid stamping in my passport.?

 

I know i have to get a stamping for h1 again but i am worried about stuck again in 221g..

 

please help..is it possible  has anyone done this..

You need to go to the stamping for sure ,VO Not gonna issue 221G based on previous histrory , if you have proper documents then you dont have to worry,but it all depends on your luck , hope for best
