First Time H4 stamping - Vancouver - Response Needed Please

Hello Guys

 

First of all, Thanks to Murthy Forum and the members in the forum for providing valuable information.

 

I came here to US on F2 visa 9 years ago and changed my status to H4 5 years ago. I will be travelling to Vancouver soon with my US citizen kids (7 and 4)  to get my first time H4 stamped . My husband,(principal applicant) has a common muslim name and he does not have his h1 stamped since he did not travel out of US. Do they do a background check on principal applicant? Could that be a reason for name/background check/admin processing? I have heard back ground check takes a long time to get cleared.
