I have an appointment on June 26th, in Calgary. Canada. My H1-B ammendment is recently updated. Should I send an email to PIMS to verify my information is updated on PIMS database?

Hi, myself and my friend have a visa interview on June 27th @ Calgary.

I also did my H1B amendment in the starting month of this year. I don't think we need to do anything to update PIMS.

This will be updated internally, by the Visa consulate office. This is what said by my employer.

Ok. Thanks for your response. My employer did the amendment in the month of May, 2013. But I have been working for this client from July 2012. Is this your first H1-B or extension? Which model are you in?

Fyi...I had my interview yesterday 06/18 and vo officer said that they are using new software for finding PIMS from yesterday as they faced many issues in finding PIMS earlier.. I hope after amendment within 2 weeks PIMS should get update automatically in their systems..
