H-1B extension filed and existing petition valid till 30th September 2013.

i have 2 questions here

Question:1

Does it a problem if i am travelling to INDIA and coming back to USA before my existing petition expires (09/30/2013), During port of Entry?

Question:2

i have travelled in May 2013 and planning to travel again in July 2013 and will be back by end of July. (07/31/2013).

travelling multiple times on H-1B when it's validity near to expiration date and H-1B extension filed .

does it cause any problem during Port of Entry?

My H1B visa stamp also getting expiring on Sept 7th 2013.  I traveled to India twice within span of 5 months, 1st trip returned to USA on Jan 6th 2013 and 2nd trip returned on Jun 2nd 2013. In  my 2nd trip, immigration officer at SFO POE asked that "do you have an extension to this visa", I said NO, then he simply put the immigration entry stamp. I got I-94 until 9/17/2013. My HR told that as long as you have valid visa to re-enter US, that should be good. It does not matter how soon it is getting expiring.
