UK citizen of indian origin

My wife is a UK citizen but was born in India.

I was told by a friend that a UK citizen doesn't need H1B for 12 months to work in USA.

In other words, a UK citizen can work in USA for 12 months without an H1B. After that she would require an H1B sponsorship.

Is that true? partially, completely? Please guide and help. Thanks.

hmm...thats not true..never hrd of any such rule..dont believe in rumours and friends...especially on immigration matters :)

There is NO such rule.

FALSE. ALl guest workers need work authorization. A UK citizen may VISIT under the VWP without a B2 stamping if eligible to participate under the qualifications required for VWP.
